Construction Job Openings, Construction Labor Drying Up?

Question:
But contractors can't find enough skilled labor to meet those key demands for a business that is booming.

In this country built by the hard labor of the blue-collared worker, many now look at a construction career as too tough to consider, according to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Answer:
Now from quote this thing could take all by surprise ---- where do you find the skilled craftmen where and how do a new generation find the drive, when these "3D-somthing" experts and these "3D-Technikes" is hardly found in today's architect applications, where on earth do you find the skilled workers that acturly can tigh together our expertations about new jobs and relevant new construction technikes. Guess you know that architect programs is not about smart assembly and direct link production but rather is just the old way's written into fast computer code producing exactly the same acount and paper, not the actural building element, not new way , not the new craftmanship the craftmanship of tomorrow. Look around decide if the WTC rebuild bring anything but the same glass and steel just in another form, nomatter the structure, no thought about what this could bring of new jobs and new craftmanship,

maby you are right that it is difficult to compare with today's plybox walls and tiny timber foundations, but new technikes do produce stronger houses, also they ask a different craftmanship than how craftmanship survived producing more and more efficient building blocks, but where on earth will you find promising new architecture in 10 or 20 years, if new technikes even develobed by skilled craftmen, are met with arogance and conservatism just becaurse "we know what we have" , when this mean that only somthing weaker or uglyer get a chance.

No, maybe YOU are right. If the construction labor market starts to dry up, who will build the boxes as they are presently designed? Robots cannot be built to build buildings as they are designed today. (wow, 3 versions of *build* all in one sentence, I should get an award or something...maybe even a purple heart or 3!) This might be the push that will be necessary to guide the whole process, perhaps, in a direction you have been touting. It may become too expensive to build stuff like they do today and the market will provide a new way, a new style, a new method.
