Answer:
Sales - JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible
for selling gases, welding, safety, and industrial products to
contractors in the North Texas market. The expected results are
above market average sales growth from the targeted SIC classes
of contractors. It is expected this program will result in
substantial annual revenue increases, with growth in contractor
sales being the primary metric confirming program
results.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following. Other duties may be assigned. Employ construction
market contacts, expertise and experience to generate sales to
the targeted SIC classes of contractors. Work with local Branch
Managers in transitioning existing branch operation to a
construction focused operation. Establishes a process for
continuous and accurate market data collection for customer sales
and service needs, market trends and competitor activities.
Promotes the construction product offering and identifies and
communicates any product line extensions needed to corporate
marketing. Collaborates with local Red-D-Arc (welding equipment
rental) sales personnel to maximize Airgas construction sales.
Utilizes all necessary sales and marketing literature.
Collaborates with Strategic Accounts to assist in implementation
of strategic account programs. Supports local sales generalists
on construction sales opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform

in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Bachelor 's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years construction sales experience in a branch based
industrial products, construction sales, rental, or distribution
environment. Proven capability to deliver superior sales results
in a high customer service level environment. Excellent
communication and presentation skills.oAbility to influence
senior executives in construction companies. oAbility to interact
with all levels of management within the regional company.
