Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boot , Warm steel toe work shoes?

Question:
I am looking for steel toe work shoes that are waterproof and warm. (25 degrees weather) The steel toe shoes I have found don't seem to be lined and don't say anything about being waterproof. I found some great looking hunting shoes which are waterproof and warm, but they are not steel toed.

Anyone have luck finding warm steel toe shoes?

Answer:
These are insulated, steel toe work boots. I am sure you can have them waterproofed if they aren't already.

Do they need to be steel? Iron Age (I believe, if not them then redwing) sells a plastic-toe that meets the same spec, and isn't cold in the winter.

If you're looking to pass the OSHA or whoever specs, I'd say go for the plastic (fiberglass shell?) toes instead. Much less heat transfer through the protective caps that way.

I tried ordering work shoes and boots last year from Gemplers in Belleville Wisconsin and had pretty good luck.

They have the following listed in their on-line catalog::

Their website is www.gemplers.com

They have a lot of other footwear as well.

Do you have Dr Martens shoes or boots in the USA (if that's where you are)? They have air-insulated soles, and are extremely comfortable. They aren't specifically waterproof, but I've never had a pair leak under normal building site conditions.
