Vintage Rubber Boots ?

Question:
I have just come across a pair of tall vintage brown boots. But these boots are not the thin plastic as are my other vintage brown boots. These are thicker, a little lighter brown and are rubber not plastic. Other than that they look just like any other vintage brown boots.

Answer:
All of my brown and black rubber boots have "Hong Kong" molded in a semi circle in the heels? The brown ones I have are dark brown, matching the plastic ones closely.

These are supposed to fit the early baby feet Joes, so they'd be snug or impossible to mount on the common feet. I dunno... I've never dared to put them on any of my baby feet Joes. I suspect Joes feet make a one way trip into those boots.

i fim not wrong ,these are very early versions ,they should have a smooth bottom.they are worth quite a bit more than the standard version...replica

I agree with the above. I've had several of the "rubber" boots and all are thicker and can be either very soft and squishy or very hard. They also should have the Honk Kong on each heel in a semi circle as stated above. You might want to look very close at the heel as it doesn't show up very good sometimes.

I picked up a pair of brown "rubber" boots at a toy show once. They were in a box with some other items but I knew what they were right away. After looking them over I noticed a foot still in one. After considerable work I freed it from the boot and it was indeed an early baby foot and a mint one at that. Probably stayed in there since the Christmas morning in which the kid thought I'll change Joe's clothes!
