Women's Size Steel Toe Boots ?

Question:
Which of you was looking for a proper boot w/steel toes? I just got the latest Sportsman's Clearance Catalog, and there are *lots* of "proper" boots in women's sizes, including a brown suede engineer's boot with steel toes. Men's, but the sizes start at a *5* and go up to 12, regular and wide. Chippewa, for $39.95. (Reg. $175.00, it says.) These (and others, like the women's S&W boots) don't seem to be on the website Gary Olin runs, but they *are* in the Clearance Catalog. Whichever one of you it was who wanted steel toe boots, if you don't have the catalog, if you want to email me I can give you the specs; clearance items generally go fast enough that they might be gone by the time you could get a catalog of your own. (I've discovered this to my sorrow. ) There may be other steel toe boots available; these just caught my eye.

Answer:
I don't suffer from insanity......I'm enjoying every minute of it!

Seriously, though, that's just that model. Knowing that catalog, each item has it's own range of available everything, from sizes to colors to styles. It may be that there's another style in there that starts at size 3, or kid-sized boots (same construction) that go large enough to work, or that even (Somebody Forbid!) come in women's sizes.

Lehigh shoes probably has them. We have a catalog at work, and they have all sorts of steel toed shoes in both men and woman's sizes. They also have metatarsal guard shoes, plus steel toed shoes designed for use around computer equipment. First steel toed "jogging" shoe I ever saw was in a Lehigh catalog.
